The democracy question baffles me.

In a democracy:

-do you try to imprison or "much worse" your political opponents?

-do you try to control the urban areas with policies, handouts and guilt?

-do you try to censor all the voices that you do not agree with ?

-do you make up fallacies and "out of context" quotes to mislead the easily impressionable?"

-do you incorporate most of the national media to back up anything you say or do?

there is more..

doesn't really sound like a democracy to me.

enjoy your day

Controlling the urban areas with policies seems, yes, like the sort of thing a democracy would do.

Using fallacies and out of context quotes to mislead? Yes, this is something that happens in every election, on every side.

I mean, if your political opponents commit crimes, then yes, they should go to prison. The same is true of your political allies.

"crimes" can can be best construed as the same as the ole "we can indict a ham sandwich" line..

same applies here.

Zimmer writes extremely well. Yet seems blinded by bias, hate (and mandate?) that has removed any sense of common sense or the appearance of.. just like many of the readers.

Don't believe everything you read.

In fact... go the other way. believe nothing.

A high IQ -without common sense = stupid

Sure. Well, my common sense says that if I took a bunch of classified documents home with me and tried to not return them, I'd probably be in jail.

This law applies to me, but not to my political overlords.

every single politician with clearance has done that..

oh well.

guess its getting dropped... as everyone already knew..

Exactly. Politicians can break that law. If I break that law, I'm going to jail. It's a crime for me, but when Trump does the exact same thing, it's dropped.

I wish every American could read this. They need to. Thanks, Thomas. Well done. Again.

They are indeed stakes of a high magnitude. I do not recall if I have shared here or not my podcast that was released some 10 days ago in time for the election:
